Rev Canon Trevor O’Neale has served in the ordained ministry of our Diocese for over 30 years. He has a passion for the priesthood and the mission of the church. From humble beginnings, he has, with great humility become a pastor and priest of the people of God. Canon Trevor wants to see the church make a positive influence in the lives of those who are poor, broken and disposed in Society.
Canon Trevor was ordained as a Deacon on August 24, 1993, at the Christ Church Parish Church by Bishop Rufus Broome who also officiated at his ordination to the priesthood on September 29, 1994 at the Cathedral of St. Michael and All Angels.
His first position was Assistant Curate at the Cathedra for three years, then he became the incumbent of St. Luke Anglican Church from 1996. Six years later, in 2002, he became the Rector of St. Philip’s Parish Church.
Canon Trevor serves as the Rural Dean of the Christ Church Deanery.
